We are pleased to offer a wide variety of enrichment opportunities throughout the year for our elementary students. Thanks to a generous grant, we are able to provide these opportunities at low or no cost to our familles. Programs are offered by a blend of our own amazing CRPUSD staff and faculty and incredible community partnerships.

John Reed Spring Enrichment

CRPUSD is pleased to offer after school enrichment opportunities for your students. Thanks to a generous Expanded Learning Opportunity Program (ELO-P) grant, we are able to provide these opportunities at low or no cost to our familles. A completed form does not guarantee a spot in the program.  There are no fees to participate in the classes at John Reed Elementary.


All Sorts of Sports for Grades 1-5 

The All Sports Club by National Academy of Athletics is packed with fun. Whether your child is a beginner or more experienced player, this multi-sport club is a perfect place for kids to be introduced to the world of sports, teamwork and athletics! Games we play include basketball, dodgeball, soccer, kickball, flag football, capture the flag, ultimate Frisbee & obstacle races and a whole lot more. Your children will learn new skills while having a blast and making new friends. 

Grade: 1-5
Dates: Tuesdays, 4/2-5/21
Times: 3:00-4:30 PM


Adventures in STEM with LEGO® Materials

Let your imagination run wild with tens of thousands of LEGO® parts! Build engineer-designed projects and use special pieces to create your own unique designs! Projects are rotated seasonally to ensure that both new and returning students can explore the endless creative possibilities of the LEGO® building system.

Grade: 1-3
Dates: Fridays, 4/5-5/17
Times: 3:05- 4:30PM
